Can you make custom lampshades and lamp base designs?
Yes, I'm happy to produce bespoke commissions to meet your specific requirements, please contact me to discuss what you're looking for.

How do I know what size lampshade to buy for my lamp fitting?
If you’re measuring for a table lamp, please see the Measurement Guide which will help in finding the right size to suit your base. If you’re measuring for a floor standing or ceiling fitting, please get in touch to discuss your requirements, I’d be happy to help.

I'm not sure which fabric to choose, can I see a sample before I order?
Yes, simply complete the contact form or email me on rachel@cheekypickle.co.uk with details of the materials you would like and your address, these will be posted free of charge to a UK address.

I'd like to use my own fabric, can you create a lampshade from this?
Yes, I take bespoke commissions to meet your specific requirements so would be happy to use your choice of fabric. Please contact me for more information.

What size lampshade do you recommend for your lamp bases?
The Vintage, Heritage, Column and Spiral lamp bases work best with a 25cm or 30cm diameter x 21cm height Drum lampshade, or a French Drum with a 30cm bottom diameter.

The Empire lamp base is slightly taller and therefore works better with a 30cm or 35cm diameter x 21cm height Drum lampshade, or a French Drum with a 35cm bottom diameter. Although if you want to make a statement you can size up to a 35cm or 40cm diameter respectively.

Are your lampshades fire resistant?
My lampshades are all made using PVC backing with metal rings, both of which are fire resistant and comply with the BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries. This means all materials are resistant to heat, fire and flames and are therefore safe to use in the home.

How much is delivery within the UK?
I offer free UK delivery via Royal Mail 'Signed For' service. For more information please visit my Delivery & Returns page.

Do you ship outside of the UK?
Yes, I can ship your order internationally within the EU, United States, Australia and Canada.

Will my order be well protected from damage when it's packed and delivered?
Yes, all lampshades are individually wrapped and securely packaged in a strong double-walled box.
